Introducing Chef Michael Kitts, a renowned culinarian best known for his contributions to the industry - making a significant impact over a career that spans more than four decades.

With over 40 gold medals won in global competitions and extensive coverage of his expert advice year-on-year, his exceptional skills and dedication to the craft are unquestionable.

Michael Kitts is also widely recognised for his leadership in culinary education.  For the past 23 years as Culinary Director at The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management in Dubai, part of the Jumeirah Group,  he has been the leading force in culinary education for students studying hospitality.  


Also, whilst in the Middle East he has developed back to basics culinary programmes for various leading hotels and institutes. He is also recognised by the Craft Guild of Chefs, London, as a mentor to the World Skills and has successfully mentored and advised two gold medallists to date.   

Chef Michael Kitts is not only a culinary expert, but also a passionate community advocate.   Most recently he was the first to establish and lead a culinary program for the Emirates Down Syndrome Association.
